Public Speaking Coach
The purpose of the public speaking coach is to prepare
narrators and speakers to utilize their utmost abilities to create the
wonderful excitement of creating a persuasive cognitive speech. Everybody is
born with the ability to experience and convey emotional text. It is up to the “public speaking coach” to
create in the pupil by different means to arouse the different and basic
emotions in the speaker, such as warmth, hate, affection, rage, sorrow, love
and guilt that lends impact to a speech, audition monologue, or an impassioned
audio depiction.
Edson Stroll, the founder of Voice Masters of America has
been a public speaking coach ever since he appeared with Elvis Presley in GI
Blues as Dynamite, Elvis’s top sergeant in 1960. Elvis had just been discharged
from the army and he felt he needed the services of a dialogue and public
speaking coach. During the filming of GI Blues, if one listens carefully, there
is a great deal of improvement in Elvis’s ability to fluently deliver lines and
register a believable characterization.
In an improvisation speech or when delivering an audition
monologue, the public speaking coach can help the candidate deliver a speech or
depiction in a manner that is “competitive,” so that you can compete with the
established pros. The public speaking coach must be able to expertly
demonstrate the use of the teleprompter, ear prompting and handling of cue
cards. Proper use of the microphone and
